October was Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to shed light on resources and support for survivors. Western Washington University made efforts toward advocacy by pushing for awareness around domestic violence and ensuring  students can get the help they need on campus.

Wednesday Night Lights defies the norms of mountain biking by embarking on rides in complete darkness. Every Wednesday night during winter, weather permitting, members of Bellingham’s mountain biking community gather on Galbraith Mountain for a ride they’ll never forget.

Head Coach Brian Roper led Lynden High School to win four of the last five 2A state championships. Thirty years ago at North Mason High School, Roper coached his first season without winning a single game.

Western Washington University’s women’s soccer team placed second in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships in Ellensburg. The team has appeared in the GNAC final game for the last 11 years.
