Woman murdered in Fairhaven, police arrest suspect

The victim was pronounced dead at about 2:40 p.m. due to stab wounds, police said. Police said the stabbing was not a random incident, but there is no threat to the public, Lt. Danielle Beckley said in an email. There was a sexual motivation behind the crime, police said. The suspect is Sheaen Smith. The victim was 57-year-old Aurora Smith, according to police.
