Ray Garcia, Freshman, English literature major

Q: What/who is your style inspiration?

A: I don’t really have much of an inspiration. If I see something that I like, then I just sort of put something together. But for the most part I just dress the way I like. Dean Winchester from Supernatural dresses calm and sort of laid back so that’s pretty cool sometimes.

Q: Where do you like to shop?

A:  I like going to thrift stores just because I get annoyed when people are wearing the exact same thing as me. Occasionally I go to the big stores like Forever 21, Zumiez, PacSun. I’ll even sometimes go to Target because they have good stuff.

Q:  What's changed about your style over time?

A: A lot actually. I used to dress dorky and a lot of my clothes just fit weird on me. I’d wear really big shirts or khaki shorts that were above the knees that looked really lame. I do have two sisters, so over time they just would buy me things.

Q: What's your favorite article of clothing in your wardrobe?

A:   It would probably have to be this Astros jersey that I found at the Goodwill. I mean there is nothing special about it because I’m sure it was just some community team’s jersey. It’s kind of plain but I like that you can do a lot with it
