Abdul-Malik Ford, Freshman, hoping to study Environmental Science

Q: Where do you get you style inspiration? A: I’m a big thrifter, so I try to find all my clothes at thrift stores. If I like it then I’ll try it on. If it’s cool then I’ll just buy it.   Q: How has your style changed over time? A: In middle school I dressed like a regular middle schooler, I had no individual style. Come freshman year,  I was tired of looking like [everyone else]. I decided to change it up, and whatever looks different I try to wear.   What motivates you to put time into your look? A: Looking good is feeling good. That’s my motto when it comes to dressing up.   Q: Where do you usually shop? A: Every now and then I’ll go to H&M, maybe Macy’s and Nordstrom. That’s about it.   Where clothes are from/cost: Members only jacket: Goodwill in Seattle Sweater: Goodwill in Tukwila Pants: “I don’t actually know, I’ve had these for a long time.” Socks: Old Navy.   Shoes: Journey’s Fun fact: "I like to make trick shots and record them."
