Senior Bobby Hall, a political science major, recently rewatched “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”.
Hall said he likes the show because it’s funny. He said Frank Reynolds, who is played by Danny DeVito, is his favorite character.
Storyline from IMDB: Four average people own a pub in Philly. They always seem to get themselves in precarious positions through their stupidity and pursuit of the American Dream. They never seem to do anything right through Murphy's law. A lot of witty and dark humor, so if you are not a fan of that, then this is definitely not for you. If so, it's your dream show, with each episode giving you life scenarios dramatized and the most outrageous characters to play them.
My Review: The show follows a dysfunctional group of friends and is filled with hilarious, inappropriate humor. Although, they can turn on each other in an instant, they would try to do anything to help out their friends in their own messed up and senseless ways. Hidden under all that dark humor, they actually touch on controversial topics within society.
My Rating: 3.5 out of 5
