National champion’s season comes to a close

The Western women’s soccer team was shut out 2-0 by the University of California San Diego Friday, Nov. 17, in the NCAA II West Regional Final.

The loss knocked the Vikings out of the NCAA II tournament.

Western ended its season with an 18-2 overall record and the Great Northwest Athletic Conference title.
