Possible voyeurism occurs on campus

A visitor to a Viking Union men’s restroom saw a person in an adjacent stall extend their hand with a cell phone under the stall, according to a Western Alert.

This is the fifth instance of voyeurism reported to Western’s community since Sunday, Feb. 12, via Western Alerts.

The suspect in the Viking Union incident was described as white, wearing dark shoes.

Bellingham Police and University Police have assigned extra patrols north of campus where the additional incidents occurred, according to an alert sent at 12:38 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16.

The alert about the Viking Union incident was sent at 3:39 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16.
