Pedestrian robbed at gunpoint north of campus

Two men robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint Tuesday night around 10:30 p.m. near North Garden and East Maple streets, according to a Western Alert sent at 11:23 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7.

The robbers fled in a white car with a license plate that partially read “NB”. The car was last seen going nortbound on North Garden and then turning east on East Chestnut Street, according to the alert.

One robber was described as a male, armed with a pistol with a dark finish, who was about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He wore a bandana over his face, according to the alert.

The second subject was described as possibly armed with a knife. He was said to be wearing a hat and a bandana over his face as well, according to the alert.

Three to four people were believed to be in the vehicle, according to the alert.
