Viking Voices: 3/1

Viking Voices showcases student opinions on different issues by asking them different questions. This week we asked students: “Should the Supreme Court be required to consider an appointment from President Obama?”

“I’d say he would have pretty good intel into who the people are, seeing as he was a senator before. Probably in some ways they’ll support his agenda but it depends on if that’s a good thing or bad thing for the supreme court to decide.”

“Of course, because that’s in the Constitution. When there’s a vacancy in the Supreme Court the president nominates someone to fill that.”
