Night in with Netflix: The Little Black Book

“The Little Black Book” is a romantic comedy that is a lighthearted and hilarious. When I turned it on, I was simply looking to veg out and be lazy for the evening. For most of the movie, that’s exactly what I got. It seemed to be predictable and sweet, with no twists or turns. The end proved my preconceptions wrong.     [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UgZDDOMMlE[/embed]     “The Little Black Book” is about a girl named Stacy Holt, an associate producer for a daytime talk show. She begins to doubt her boyfriend’s faithfulness and uses the show’s resources to interview past girlfriends. Inevitably, this gets Stacy in to some trouble and tries to use her new co-worker friends to get her out of it.   The antics are girly and silly. It’s a fairly innocent movie with a classic plotline, but it gets it’s 7.5 rating with the end of the story. Don’t write the movie off as one-dimensional until you make it to the end. I promise your jaw will drop.   Rating: 7.5/10
