Bellingham Bells versus Wenatchee

Joe Martin Field (1220 Civic Field Way) July 13-14 6:30-8 p.m. General Admission: $7 Grandstand seat: $10 Dugout Box Seat: $13.50 The Bellingham Bells play against the Wenatchee AppleSox within their 57-game season. Families can come eat and watch as these teams go head-to-head for the West Coast League collegiate games.

Jericho Beach Park All weekend, July 13-15 4 p.m. Friday--9:15 p.m. Sunday The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is headlining artists like Art Bergmann, Wallis Bird, Mariel Buckley Band. Many more bands will be playing, with the accompaniment of food and entertainment.

LOL-apalooza

The Upfront Theatre (1208 Bay St.) July 13-14 9-10:30 p.m. Tickets: $10 This is an improv game show festival that happens weekly where some of the funniest teams compete in a “Whose Line Is It Anyway” type of show.

BAAY Presents: Shrek the Musical

BAAY Theater (1059 N. State St.) Friday, July 13  at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 14 at 2 p.m, , 7 p.m. Sunday, July 15 at 2 p.m. Tickets: $10 BAAY Presents a children’s version of Shrek the Musical, based off of the Dreamworks movie and Tony award-winning original musical. The play features Shrek, Donkey and Fiona for a family-friendly audience.

Veterans of Foreign Wars: Celebrating 90 Years

Bellingham VFW Post 1585 Open House (625 N. State St.) 1-5 p.m. Free admission This event that honors veterans and their families, based on the first Bellingham soldier who was killed in action. It is family-friendly with a raffle, including prizes, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Fairhaven Outdoor Cinema: “Jumanji”

Fairhaven Village Green on 10th Street and Mill Avenue Seating opens at 7:30 p.m, movie starts at 8:15 p.m. The Fairhaven Outdoor Cinema is hosting a family-friendly viewing “Jumanji” (2017) with live music and food available for purchase.

1100 Railroad Ave. Noon - 4 p.m. Bellingham is hosting its annual pride festival this Sunday, with vendors such as Brotha Dudes, Kombucha Town, Roller Betties and Planned Parenthood, along with live entertainment.

Bellingham Circus Guild (1401 6th St.) 7-8:15 p.m.; 9-10:15 p.m. $5-10 suggested donation The Bellingham Circus Guild presents an experimental performing-arts show that features uncensored and raunchy talent to raise money for a fundraiser. Arrive 30 minutes early to get good seats.
