By Mia Steben  As part of the Student Marketing Association at Western, students listened to a presentation about Western’s business administration MBA program on May 16. Presenters Trista Truemper and Zoe Donat are both enrolled in the graduate program and will be graduating this June. “Anyone who is a marketing student should be in it because they have all these events and training opportunities and speakers come,” Donat said. “It’s super useful for developing your professionalism.” Truemper said they hope to give the students insight gained over the years of being graduate students.

She was there to answer questions people had about the MBA program, graduation exams or how to fund their education, Truemper said. SMA brings speakers to engage with students and help them in their professional careers. President Senior Hayden Cody-Jensen helps facilitate these events. “We try to bring in speakers that come with different backgrounds of the marketing environment, and try to just speak toward what they do and what they accomplish,” Cody-Jensen said. "We have formal meetings usually every Wednesday of the quarter, so we try to get guest speakers to come for each one of those.”
