Spring break is around the corner. Before we know it, flowers will bloom as Bellingham gets warmer. Pineapple Paloma is a flavorful drink that will add to the brightness of springtime.

Ingredients:

1 pineapple 1 package of pineapple juice (3 oz.) 1 ounce Tequila (your choice) Grapefruit Soda (your choice) fill up until cup is full 2 Limes Salt Tajin (Mexican chile powder. You can find this at any Mexican store.)  

Directions:

Step 1: Cut the pineapple into circles and then into four pieces as seen in the picture. Step 2: Place the pineapple pieces in a container and soak with a ½ cup  of tequila. Step 3: In a small plate place side to side the salt and tajin. Step 4: Wet the rim of the cups with a piece of pineapple, then place the cups upside down to smear it with salt and tajin. Step 5: Add ice to the cup, then the pineapple juice. Squeeze half a lime, add a ½ cup of tequila and the grapefruit soda. Step 6: Sprinkle tajin on a side of the cut pineapple and place it on the cup. Enjoy your break and cheers!
