CHEAP AND EASY RECIPES: HEALTHY COOKIE DOUGH BALLS

  “Peek-a-boo! Here’s some cookies for you,” the Cookie Monster said. However, unlike that blue monster with a severe sweet tooth, we can’t all eat copious amounts of cookies without regrets.These no-bake cookie dough balls embody everyone’s favorite part of the cookie. While tasting like a classic treat, these cookies are vegan, gluten free and high in protein.  

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups coconut flour
  • ¼ cup flax seeds
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup nut butter
  • ¼ cup honey, agave or pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ mini chocolate chips
Tip: Buy whatever ingredients you can from the bulk section of your grocery store!

Directions:

Step 1: Mix flour, flax, hemp and salt in a medium bowl Step 2: Add nut butter, honey and vanilla Step 3: Stir to combine Step 4: Fold in chocolate chips Step 5: Roll dough into tablespoon sized balls Step 6: Enjoy right away or refrigerate in an airtight container
