“It sounds like it is directed toward guys and not to girls. It would be nice to see something that’s more related to both men and women.”

sophomore, anthropology and creative writing
"‘Grow a Pair’ is an old school term that has been offensive for a while, if they are using it for a new slogan I would recommend against it. It shouldn’t be gender specific. Maybe like ‘Health Up!’ or something like that.

junior, sustainable development and project management and Chinese
“‘Grow a Pair’ seems pretty gender biased. Especially here where we promote diversity and gender sensitivity and I don’t think it is a very appropriate slogan. It should be changed.”

“It’s kinda funny for guys, but I don’t know how I would take it if I was a girl. Depends on who you are. I definitely think they could have picked something better.”
